Three stars for real love for every ingredient

As one of the youngest and excellent 3-star chef in Germany, Christian Bau can look back on a unique career that makes him one of the best chefs in the republic. He can fully live his culinary philosophy in his Restaurant “Victors Fine Dining” which is integrated in the Hotel Victors Residence-Hotel.

Christian Bau became chef in the former “Victor´s Gourmet Restaurant Schloss Berg” after he completed a classical training. He inspired the star gastronomy by his creativity and greatest talent. In 1998 he got awarded with his first Michelin star and just a year later the second. He reached the top of his career with his third star in 2005.

He started working on his own kitchen philosophy and combines japanese elements with classical french cuisine – with resounding success. He serves his guests only the best – every product has to be first-class quality for his 3-star creations. He takes it as a compliment if someone calls him a product fetishist because a great product is the centre of attention. The motto of his cuisine: simple, contemporary and cosmopolitan. His restaurant is not without reason ranked with seven top marks in seven restaurant guides. The integration of international culinary currents in the traditional French haute cuisine: Christian Bau has found his own style in “Victor´s Fine Dining” with his successful philosophy and lives it with enthusiasm. After all these successful years he still loves to work in the kitchen himself and to meet his guests in person.

The award of three stars of Guide Michelin is a daily incentive for Christian Bau to keep working at the highest level. However, his guests can fully concentrate on consumption  in an relaxed atmosphere. Christian Bau and his team hope to make people happy with their work – so no one will miss a visit to “Victor´s Fine Dining” because of a missing tie!
